Using Art to Propel Healing & Change
My Story
I am a citizen of Cherokee Nation who was born and raised in Humboldt County, CA. After devoting my career in the service of others, I took time away from everything to heal from unresolved childhood trauma (If you are interested in the details of my story, please read the following article from the North Coast Journal: https://www.northcoastjournal.com/news-2/the-disappearing-registrants-33328406/).
What brought me the most peace and allowed me to focus on a future of hope rather than fear was jumping headfirst into my art. I believe that voicing my experience through writing, digital artwork, and Indigenous jewelry-making is the path that Creator has laid before me. I hope that my art helps to build community while also providing awareness of real world policies that negatively impact survivors of child sexual abuse (CSA).
Purchasing my artwork will go directly toward supporting me and my ambition of one day opening housing with supportive services for other survivors of CSA who need a longer path to healing.

Cultural Classes
I make Indigenous Jewelry and have three years of experience in public programming. If you would like me to teach a class for youth or adults in loom beading, processing pine nuts and/or jewelry design for a commission, please submit a request below.
Grant Writing
Along with a professional certification in Grant Writing from San Diego State University, I have 5 years of experience working with grants, the last two years of which were spent heavily on grant writing & and grant administration. If you have a special need, please submit a request for my contractable grant writing services.
